Meet Nari! She is one super cute 6 month old yellow lab mix looking for a home to call her own! Nari was on the “last call” list at one of the area shelters with her sibling. One look at those faces and they were in the car and on their way to safety!! Just take one look at that smiling face! Nari and her sister were playing & romping like they had no idea they were even at the pound. Nari likes to play, go for walks, socialize with other dogs, is curious about the cats, but has been nice to them and only seemed to want to play with them. She hasn't been around children in her foster home, but gets excited and playful when she hears them playing when we're on walks. Her sibling absolutely adores kids and we think that Nari would love to have kids in her new family too! She doesn't chew on furniture and answers commands well (drop it, sit, down, off). She is very smart and wants to please. She likes treats, but really loves to be highly praised for good deeds. She chases after a thrown ball or toy, but hasn't master how to bring it back just yet. She loves attention and would love to be a lap dog. She was unsure about cars when we first got Nari, but after some fun trips to the park, she just hops right in. Nari is a typically puppy and needs a family that will let her be a puppy and play her little heart out. We think she is highly trainable as she is so smart and picks things up so quickly. She can dig with the best of them and will tend to do that if left unattended in the back yard for long stretches….she gets bored like any puppy would! Nari is 6 months old, weighs 45 pounds and has the most adorable little white feet. She has had all her shots, is Heartworm negative and is on preventative and is spayed and micro-chipped. Nari’s foster that took her in when we rescued her was only a temporary foster and we need to get Nari back to a new foster ASAP! She waited so long at the shelter, we do not want to send her to be in a kennel environment. If you think you can open your home to this baby until she finds her forever home, she would be forever grateful! She gets along with all dogs and would make an great playmate to your current kido!
