Nala has been spayed, is up to date on shots and heartworm negative. She is a nine month old shepherd  mix. Here is her story.

Before I ended up here, I was sleeping for a couple of weeks in the streets. My owner didn't want me - I'm not sure what happened to him. I found a lady that I really liked, but she has three dogs and no room for me. I slept in her house for a couple of days until she posted me on Pets of Southbelt.

The manager of the website asked for help on Facebook and my stepmom showed up. She picked me up for one weekend. I jumped into her car and was OK. I was very good with her and her family so she decided to let me stay until I gain more weight (it's been three months). I am sweet and mellow. If you give me an opportunity, I will be by your side all the time giving you kisses and hugs. I love kids and I am smart. I love swimming pools and will play with anybody. I am ready to be by your side and be your best friend. I would like to have a little bit of our attention, love and time. If you have all of those things, give me an opportunity to make you happy.
