Meet Monkey who is as whimsical as his name! This young pup is full of life and energy and is ready to make you smile. He was abandoned at a vet's office and has sadly spent much of his puppy life in a kennel. Regardless, he is a happy go lucky dog who meets no strangers. He is a motivated to learn new things paying special attention to whatever you ask of him. He quizzically looks at you with his eyes of gold waiting for his command or an invitation to play. He loves to play with toys, enjoys a good game of tug, and likes to romp around and blow off steam. Amazingly, with little training, he walks nicely on the leash and does not pull. He loves a nice roll in the grass or to crawl on his tummy in silly pittie fashion. This puppy, with colors like milk and honey, is very quiet but has that mischievious side ready for play. He really needs a home where he can be a puppy, curl up in somone's lap, have a fluffy bed of his own, but most importantly have the security of a family who loves him so he will never be abandoned again. If you think you have room for Monkey under your tree and forever, please make his wish come true!
Monkey is an American Pit Bull Terrier puppy who is about 11-12 months old. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative and in great health and is also microchipped. He weighs about 40 pounds and will probably grow a little more but he will not be a huge dog. Monkey will do best as an only dog or with a large female dog.
