Molly 7

One of our volunteers was on her way home Friday night and came across Molly as she was sitting in the middle of a busy road out in the country. She stopped traffic on her side while a driver in the oncoming lane did the same. At that point Molly ran back to her side of the road. They sat in their cars for a few minutes on the side of the road and watched as a man drove up. Molly ran to him so they figured she lived there.   Just when our volunteer was going to drive off, the other driver other driver had approached the man, so she decided to see what was up & be sure she was safe.   He really didn't offer up much information other than he had tried to keep her out of the road by beating her and that she was given to him by a friend. He said he didn't want her and was very eager to give her up.

Now Molly is in the Scout’s Honor program and away from anyone that can hurt her again.   Molly is approximately 8 months old and weighs 23 pounds.   She is an adorable Beagle, maybe mix, with the longest soft ears!   She seems very sweet, smart and alert.   Molly can’t wait to start living the good life and is very happy to be off that side of the road, standing in front of a home that didn’t want her.
