Meet our little Minion! He is ready to find his forever home or would be thrilled to find a foster as he has been in boarding for so long!
Some of you may remember little Minion as part of the pack that ran the Heights. The leader of the pack was caught the same night as Minion but has long since been adopted. Minion has been in boarding ever since that night...almost a year.
Minion needs to go to home with at least one other dog. Dogs like Minion will do best with another dog to learn from & he LOVES other dogs! Minion has already become potty trained in boarding, but what he needs so desperately is someone to spend time with him and teach him that humans can be wonderful and part of the good in his life. His boarding place has done a phenomenal job, and he loves daycare, but this little boy needs a home.
Minion is now almost 2 years old and has never had a home. We did his dna test because we could not come up with anything definitive. The results came back that he is Australian Shepherd, Staffordshire Terrier, Bernese Mountain Dog with a few ancestors who listed as mix, basically a true Houston Street Dog.
We know that Minion may be a little more work than some are willing to put in. But if you are one of those very special people who knows how to help the little guys who just are not certain that humans are really good, please consider giving Minion a chance. Minion, along with all of us at Scout's Honor, will be incredibly grateful. And each tiny bit of progress he makes will be a great reward. Just think you could be the reason this boy learns to love.
