Friends – Meet our sweet, beautiful Mindy Sue!!  Mindy Sue was rescued from a local pound when she was just a baby and was quickly adopted out to a family.  Unfortunately, her adoptive parents split up and her adoptive dad lost his job and had to take another one that requires him to work very long hours, sometimes 24 hours at a time and her adoptive mom lives in a tiny apartment with a pitbull of her own and can’t have another dog, and neither can give Mindy Sue the care and time she so deserves so we are looking for a new forever home or foster for Mindy Sue.  She’s been in a home for so long, we hate to have to send her to a kennel so please consider opening your home to her even if just as a foster.

Mindy Sue is a female, 3 year old, American Pitbull Terrier/Staffordshire terrier.  Sje is white with the cutest little brown spots.  She is spayed, up to date on all of her shots and microchipped too and weighs about 50-55 pounds!  She is a VERY sweet and playful dog.  As you can see from her pics, she loves to clown around and loves nothing more than playing fetch and chasing her ball and carrying it around the house and even likes to be a cool doggie and put on her shades just like her humans do.  Mindy Sue is FULL of personality and lots of fun!  She also loves being silly and thinks its very funny to lay upside down and check out the world….just a hoot that will keep you smiling!  She would make some lucky person or family a very good exercise partner, such as jogging, running, walking, or biking which she loves to do.  She is very obedient and just thrives in a structured home.  She gets along well with dogs with proper introduction and has lived with other dogs at various times in her in life, including another male pitbull terrier.  She has also been around a couple of kittens and was not reactive so we think she might do well in a home with cats with proper introduction too.  She would also be happy as an only dog.  She also loves all people and think she would be great in a home with children too.

Mindy Sue is completely house and crate trained.  She will sleep in her bed all night (or day) with no incidents.  She'll pee if you say "go pee-pee Mindy."  She know how to shake with one hand for her daily dog biscuit and meal.  She is very smart and learns very quickly and is very treat motivated.  She does have a typical pitbull personality which means she has a strong personality but is also so very full of love and affection and loyalty like you’ve never seen.  Scout’s Honor can also provide a trainer to work with her foster or adopter to help with her transition.
