Catahoula Leopard Dog / Terrier / Mixed (short coat) • Female • Baby • Medium
Please meet darling Bounder and Maya! Bounder and Maya were found as little stray puppies, along with two other pups (Maverick and Olga). A good Samaritan rescued them, and we took them into the program.
When we found them, they had mange and open sores all over their bodies. After some serious love and care by a wonderful foster, these two kiddos are adorable and happy little puppies and are ready for their new homes. We would like to try to place these babies together because they are so attached; however, we will separate them if the right home comes along!
We believe that these babies are Catahoula/Heeler/Terrier mixes. They are about 14 weeks old and oh so adorable!
Bounder is very active and loves to play . . . he doesn't walk or run, he bounds everywhere-hence the name Bounder. Bounder is crate trained, and his foster parents are working on housebreaking him, but it's still a work in progress. He's very independent and doesn't really like to cuddle, except with his sister!
Maya is very sweet, but is very timid around strangers and other dogs. She is pretty dependent on her brother and likes to have him around. She can get very feisty, especially if Bounder has a toy she wants. She's very sweet and likes to cuddle. She's also crate trained, and as with Bounder, her foster parents are still working on housebreaking her.
