Mango AKA Chesty

Meet Chesty:  I’m named after one of the most famous Marines, Chesty Puller who served in Haiti, Nicaragua, WWII, and Korea.  Like Chesty, I’m stoic and strategic.  I like to do reconnaissance of the back yard and I am a really fast learner.  I do have a soft side, and like most puppies, I like to be held and pet.  I have a bit of a raspy voice, a really big smile, and a tail that’s always wagging.  Since I was named after a Marine, there was a  lot pressure to be a good swimmer, and I’m glad to say that I surprised my parents with how well I can swim.  I get along with other dogs; if there is a such thing as a cautious alpha male, that would be me.  I am very comfortable in my barracks (crate) and can make it all night and all the work day without using the latrine.  But once the liberty bell has rung, I’m ready to play. I’m about 20lbs and maybe a boxer mix.
