Luke (2)

Meet Luke. Luke is an Australian Shepherd mix who was given up by his owner to LaPorte Animal Control - boo.  As if it was not bad enough that his owner after many years abandoned him, but in doing so, Luke got put on the fast track to being euthanized.  It broke our hearts to hear that his owners had him for so many years and were just able to get rid of him like some old clothes. Lucky for Luke, the people at LaPorte Animal Shelter just adored him and were able to buy him some time until Scout's Honor could take him into the program. Scout's Honor took him in and we were immediately smitten with him, due to his loving personality. He is a very sweet boy with big beautiful pale blue eyes. Luke gets along great with other dogs and just wants to be everyone's friend. You would never know Luke was around 6 years old. He's full of spunk and likes to be active, but is a totally laid back kind of guy. Luke was just too cute after his first bath at our vet. He was so filthy when we got him (previous owner probably just threw him out in the backyard), but after his bath he looked like a new boy and felt great too. Now that he has gotten a fresh start in life, all he needs is a comfortable, loving home where he can curl up and feel safe forever.info@scoutshonor.org
