Lottie

Meet handsome man Lottie (short for Lottery).  Lottie is a little fawn-colored puppy who was found with his brother Mulch running along I-59.  They were picked up by Sugar Land Animal Control before they were hit, thank goodness.  Now Lottie is safe and sound in our foster program and ready for his new home!

Lottie is a 3 to 4 month old puppy and currently weighs about 11 pounds.  We think he is a malamute mix of sorts (with a little retriever mixed in we believe). He is a bundle of fun and frolick.  He loves to play with BIG dogs (seen here with his foster Uncle Sox). He’s not afraid of anything – not even his foster mom’s Dyson vacuum cleaner!!  He bounces like a bunny after his chew toys.  His housetraining improves every day.  He knows to go outside but will occasionally have an indoor accident – he’s a puppy!  But he loves his chew toys and things that squeak.

He sort of knows his name and knows “NO” especially when you clap your hands.  He has a cute high-pitched bark and likes water – to drink it and to play in it.  He got a bit muddy, and his foster mom plopped him in my sink, and he sat there like it was a bubble bath!

Lottie is just an overall sweet guy – but he does love company – dog or human.  He sleeps through the night – ready to play the minute you get up!

Lottie will make some a very sweet and fun companion!
