Lonnie

Looking for a playful, sweet, fun-loving, friendly, dog friendly boy to add to your family??  Check our best boy Lonnie!!  Lonnie came to us as a puppy after he was found by one of our volunteers living on the streets.  She nursed him back to health and just look at him today!!  He’s healthy, happy and READY for a forever home!!!  Lonnie is a happy-go-lucky, energetic dog who LOVES playing with other dogs!  He loves other dogs so much that we really think he will do best in a home with another doggie playmate to keep him company!  Lonnie is happiest wrestling and playing with the other 2 doggies in his foster home.  Of course, nothing beats a chew boy too and hanging out in front of the tv at the end of the day too!  He told us he is getting geared up for football season and hopes to hang out with his new family while they cheer their favorite teams, after tossing some passes in the yard!  Lonnie is quite the outdoor’s man too really loves being outside and romping around the yard, going for walks and jogs around the neighborhood and enjoying mother nature.  He will make a great companion for someone looking for an exercise buddy and playmate for their existing dog. 

Lonnie adores people too and is very affectionate and sweet.  He is your typical loyal, smart dog who is eager to please and learn new things.  At a1 year old, Lonnie is still very much a puppy and will benefit from some obedience training with his new family to make him the best dog possible.  Lonnie is so smart and catches on so easily, he will be great at learning and bet he is an A+ student!

Lonnie is a 1 year old, american staffordshire terrier mix of sorts.  He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and heartworm negative.  He weighs about 40lbs and while he might fill out a little more, should be close to being full grown.
