Lexy
Shepherd / Hound / Mixed (short coat) • Female • Adult • LargeLexy was surrendered to Harris County Animal Control along with her friend Lacey. They belonged to a family who was told by their landlord that they had to go. These 2 poor dogs were taken to animal control where they ended up on the list to be euthanized. Lucky for them we heard about their story and knew we had to help them. Lacey was adopted shortly after coming into our program but poor Lexy is still looking for her forever family. She also needs a foster home as the one she was in can no longer foster her...
Lexy is a sweet dog that gets along with other dogs and people. She is a super laid back kind of gal that loves to lounge on her beds. She would be a great companion to a low key home. Imagine - a beautiful yellow Lab mix walking along side you on your nightly stroll through the neighborhood and then a movie to end the day. :)
Lexy weighs about 60 lbs and just wants someone who will not get rid of her like her last family.
She's always been in a home so we would love to get her into a forever home. She has been failed too many times by humans and she deserves to be loved and cared for - forever. Fill out an app on Lexy at www.scoutshonor.org.
