Meet Leroy,
Leroy is a big Coonhound mix looking guy that was picked up by
BARC
as a stray. Poor Leroy was very skinny and looked so sad just sitting in a cage at BARC waiting for someone who was never coming. Leroy waited and waited but no one was interested in him. We don't know why no one wanted Leroy, as he is a SUPER handsome and very friendly boy Leroy is a gentle guy as well and takes treats from your hand very slowly and carefully. He seems like he is a few years old, 3 or so, so he past the issues that young dogs have and is more of a mature boy with pretty good manners. He still has some energy though and gets excited to see other dogs and just wants to play. Leroy is still a little skinny but is eating well and slowly putting on weight. Once he fills out he will probably weigh about 70-80 pounds. All Leroy wants is a friendly person who can give him some love and a safe, comfortable place to rest his head. Could that be you?
