Kipper

Kipper is definitely a keeper! Kipper was set to be put to sleep the day we got to BARC, but luckily we just happened to notice him at the last minute. He was so scared and just looked up at us from the bottom of the dark, damp kennel with his sad brown eyes. He's looks like a Collie/Keeshond mix who is about 2 years old and weighs 40lbs. This boy has had a tough start at life and was clearly not taken care of – his hair is full of dreadlocks, but it is nothing a bath and a good brushing can't fix. Although he's scared, he let the vet give him his shots perfectly. He also seems just fine with other dogs. When we were leaving BARC he climbed right up into the car and sat like a perfect gentleman the whole ride to boarding. He really loves the back of his ears rubbed and he is sensitive and bonds quickly, wanting to be very close. He's just a gorgeous boy and will make a great buddy.
