Meet Kaylee!

Our sweet girl Kaylee was turned into BARC by her crappy former "owners"! Not only did they just abandon her at BARC, but they turned her into BARC pregnant!! You see, her horrible owners never bothered to be responsible and have this baby girl spayed, so when she wound up pregnant, they said it was too much trouble and wanted nothing to do with her. Her owners obviously did not take good care of her, since she appears to have been attacked sometime in the recent past by another dog(s) which left scars on her beautiful face. Kaylee sat and languished at BARC hoping for someone to come rescue her, but no one ever came, and she was in jeopardy of being euthanized. When we first met her we instantly realized that everyone else had been missing out on a diamond in the rough! She is just an amazing girl who was dealt a bad hand at life before SHR rescued her. She's just as sweet as they come.

Kaylee is a Shepherd mix who is on the petite side. She is only about 2 years old and about 45-55 pounds. She has a GREAT temperament and gets along with every dog she meets. She goes to doggie daycare and loves to play. She loves playing tug-of-war with her rope and a human or her canine foster brother, Spencer.  She is fairly calm and walks well on the leash too. Kaylee loves kiddos as well. She is just a very well-behaved young lady!! She would be a great addition to any family.  Kaylee is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped.
