Meet Miss Katia!

This long-legged beauty is a sporty girl who loves to play and loves other dogs – the perfect outgoing companion for a family with another dog.  Katia is looking for a caring and compassionate home that will help build her confidence and understand that she is a bit shy when meeting new people and put in new situations.  Although she is a little shy at first, this beauty is a super happy girl.  She always has a smile on her face and literally lights up when she sees another dog.  Katia adores other dogs and is very very gentle even with the smallest ones. When she meets bigger dogs with more energy then GAME ON! She loves to play chase and play-wrestle.

A little background on this sweetie - Katia was dumped at BARC (Houston Pound) along with her momma by her heartless owner. Her momma was obviously used as a breeding machine and Katia appears to be one of her pups. Katia is a little Rottweiler, at only 65 pounds or so.  She looks just like a doll with her long legs and sparkling eyes. She is very sweet but a little timid at first meetings.  Heck, we don’t blame her one bit after being put at BARC and moved to boarding all without her momma that she used to live with. But do not feel bad for her, she is getting tons of attention and love and has a heyday at doggie daycare. 

Katia is young (a year at most), very healthy and ready to be your best friend forever.  She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations.  Now, all she needs is a foster or forever home!!
