Josey 1

Please meet Josey!   Sweet Josey was living in the woods of Brookshire with her puppies, close to a nursing home.   Everyday, at breakfast and lunch, Josey would go to the nursing home looking for food.   She is smart girl and was there twice a day, every day, as she learned the schedule.   Each day, the people at the nursing home would save a little bit of each of their food so they could make sure Josey was fed.   She had a litter of puppies, some of which were taken home by different people, some of which didn’t make it.   Finally, one of the people that was visiting the nursing home found out about Josey and asked if we could help & we agreed.   Josey didn’t hesitate one second jumping in the car-   YAY, her day has finally come!   Josey is so sweet and gentle.   She has never met a stranger and will do just about anything for a pat on the head or scratch behind the ears.   Josey would be more than happy to curl up on your feet and would be a very loyal companion.

Josey is approximately 18 months old and weighs just over 50 pounds.   We think she is a Shepherd/Hound/Terrier mix.   Josey could really use a foster home where she can be taken care of for a change!   If you can foster Josey, please let us know right away!   As always, Scout’s Honor covers all costs associated with fostering.
