Meet Jordan! Jordan is a Cocker Spaniel that came to Scout's Honor through a very sad situation. Two years ago two Scout's Honor volunteers had to take one of their own dogs to the emergency vet and when they walked in they saw Jordan being dropped off to be euthanized. They found out that poor Jordan's mom had passed away just the night before and the family members did not want him and so they brought Jordan in to be euthanized and said it was because he was old. Needless to say, the Scout's Honor volunteers couldn't bear to see this happen, especially when Jordan seemed like a healthy and happy dog and was only 6-7 years old at the time.

Well, Jordan got adopted very quickly to what appeared to be a great family. Unfortunately, Jordan's family, after having him for two years, decided that they were just going to cast him off like his previous owner's family.  We don't know the whole situation, but we got a call from the husband this weekend saying they were moving and Jordan could not go.  Not a thing in the world wrong with this little guy, just a lot of despicable people around who think pets are expendable!  Of course since he is a Scout's Honor alumni, we didn't hesitate to scoop him back up and he is safe and now looking for his true forever home.

Jordan is about 8-9 years old now and is a beautiful and super sweet Cocker Spaniel. He is a healthy boy that just has some dry eye issues (like most Cockers) that he has drops for.  All he wants is a nice calm home with a family that promises to love him and never throw him away again. Won't you please consider giving him that home he so desperately wants and deserves! Jordan's fine with other dogs and kiddos and likely would be just fine with cats too.

Jordan just came back into our program this past weekend and is super stressed in boarding.  Poor thing has been abandoned twice in his life now by callous people and really needs to be in a caring home.
