Meet sweet Joey! In Joey's short life he has had some really hard times and endured horrible conditions before Scout's Honor stepped in and rescued him. Joey was just a tiny little puppy when he was found all alone in a field in pretty bad shape. He had absolutely no hair on his body and had scabs all over his skin from scratching himself raw in places. When his sad little picture hit the internet looking for someone to give him a second chance and save his life, Joey’s foster mom and Scout’s Honor came to the rescue and knew this little guy deserved a second chance. When we first got him, he looked so bad in person that you just wanted to cry knowing that he had endured so much for a baby and we were not even able to handle him with bear hands and you just wondered how a little one like him ended up all alone in the field and what an amazing will to survive and live…our Joey is all heart and one of the most amazing doggies you will ever meet!

With lots of TLC from his fabulous foster family, Joey has made a full recovery and is such a handsome boy and wants nothing more than a home to call his very own that will last forever! He has a stunning blue coat with the cutest white markings! He has a disposition that will absolutely melt your heart and steal it on the way. Joey has a very sweet temperament and just wants to be loved on – he’s like a ray of sunshine that just makes you smile when you see how happy he is and how very far he’s come. He's a fun-loving and energetic puppy who lives with his foster brothers and sisters. He gets along great with other dogs and people of all sizes. He currently lives in a foster home with several other dogs and does great with all of them and also is often around the foster’s grandchildren who are little and he loves them so much too! He just has a fabulous disposition! He will make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a new companion and while he is still a puppy, he is more easy going and laid-back than the typical puppy.

Joey is about 6-7 months old; he is a male, Best guess he is a Weimeraner /American pit bull terrier mix. Joey's up to date on all of his vaccinations, neutered, about 45 lbs and micro-chipped too. He is in perfect health and is just a very handsome, healthy little boy! Joey is crate trained and housetrained; he is learning basic commands and is very smart and catches on very quickly.
