Jill is a cute little Corgi mix in search of a new home!  Jill and her brother lived the good life at one point until their owner was a victim of homicide. Jill and her brother were found in the house and taken to BARC.  They had to hold them a certain amount of time in case family wanted to claim them.  Scout’s Honor put a hold on them in the meantime and finally we got word that we could pick them up!  We didn’t want them separated, but BARC went ahead and adopted out her brother.

Sweet Jill is just a doll! She is 3 years old and full grown at 18 pounds.  Jill is crate and house trained.  She is pretty mellow and on occasion, likes to play with toys.  She doesn't mind other dogs as long as they are laid back too.  If the others are a little too playful, it's not for her.  So perhaps living with a puppy is not in her future, but she will tolerate the playfulness after a while & would be happy with a dog her age.  Jill loves to be rubbed, especially on her belly and once you start, be prepared, as she will let you know not to stop!  She will paw at your hand to keep petting.  It is too cute!!  At first she may be a little shy, but she craves attention so much, that after a bit of belly rubs, she won't want to let you go.  Jill is incredibly sweet and does a little happy dance whenever it is food time.
