Meet our ever so HANDSOME boy Jax!!!

Jax is a FABULOUS Tibetan mastiff mix. He is approximately 5 years old and was an owner surrender at BARC. Why would someone surrender this FANTASTIC dog? They said because he escaped. They forgot to mention the countless hours he was forced to spend outdoors alone. He was most likely "escaping" to find some attention.

We can tell at one point, he mattered to whoever had him. He is incredibly well trained and heartworm negative. He walks beautifully on leash, knows sit, shake and down. However, at some point life changed and he began spending too much time outdoors alone. We can tell by the tremendous amount of sun bleach and the condition of his coat. We cannot wait to get rid of all the damaged fur so his amazing good looks are revived.

Jax is great with kids, other dogs (but is timid if they are bossy) and he even gets along with cats. He LOVES toys and is great in his crate.

Jax is the kind of dog that is trying to read both your mind and soul so that he does the right thing.
