Jaeger (nka Bear)

You may remember our boy Jaeger – you won’t recognize him!.  We received an urgent plea for this boy who was picked up as a stray walking down the North Freeway in Houston in mid-April. He had a huge rope around his neck that he either managed to chew through or just gave way due to the obvious length of time it had been around his neck.

Jaeger is a sweetheart despite his horrible condition! We rescued him and 2 others in need all at the same time from the Houston pound. He hopped right in the car and was ready to get out of there! He rode fabulously with Emmett, one of the others we rescued, both boys just laying down next to each other, appearing to finally feel a sigh of relief.

Well, some groceries, shelter, and TLC has made a huge difference for Jaeger.  Look at his pics today – WOW!!  Jaeger is doing great and his hair has grown back in nicely. He's very sweet and lovable and has not had any issues in boarding. He's just your typical awesome Rottie, happy and never looking back to the bad life he had before. He does great with other dogs of all sizes and is totally unfazed by some of the bonkers pups when he was in boarding.  Everyone that meets this great boy just adores him.  He loves to go out on a walk, but equally loves chilling in the a/c and being loved on.  He’s your typical couch-potato Rottie.

Jaeger is about 5 years old, up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped.
