Jackie is a 1 year old female Rottweiler. Jackie is AKC registered and was turned into the SPCA by her owners because she "cost too much". Funny how they could pay top dollar for an AKC dog, but not afford to keep her. When we first saw her she was very scared and nervous. You could tell she was upset being in a kennel in a strange environment. But as soon as we got her out of there and gave she some loving, she immediately came around and her true personality surfaced.   We know quite a bit about Jackie because her former owners did at least do her the favor of sending with her 2 pages of notes on her.  Jackie is a super sweet dog who loves to play, go to the dog park and is great with other dogs. She loves all people and just wants as much petting and attention as you can give her. We also were told that she likes to swim and loves to fetch an orange stick toy out of the water. She is a smart girl and knows several commands, as well as being house trained and crate trained. She also likes bones and chews and you can even take them from her and she does not react, but just let's you have them.  She also loves bathes and car rides.  She is still a puppy at heart and has a lot of energy so would be better suited to an active home or one with other dogs that she could play with.

Jackie is a healthy young girl who is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped and current on all her shots.  She needs a foster!
