Jack 2

Meet adorable Jack! He is 12 weeks old and is fully vetted, including his neuter (ouch!), and is ready for his forever home! His mom is a hound mix, and we think dad may have been a lab/border collie.

Jack is a big boy and really curious. He thinks it's funny to run away from his foster mom when it's time to go inside. Jack and his foster mom play a game of chase that totally wears her out. Jack loves other dogs and cries when there are no other dogs in the room, even if there are a lot of people. He likes kids and loves giving kisses and nibbling on chins and ears. He loves to cuddle.

Jack has almost got his potty training down! He will go to the back door and scratch when he needs to go out. He is also totally crate trained and sleeps through the night with no potty breaks for at least 8 hours. He is great with kids and loves ALL dogs. We are not sure about cats, but we imagine that he would love to play with a kitty.

Jack's foster mom has been training him to come when you call his name and to sit when he gets to you. He loves turkey and will sit and make cute faces all day to get a piece. Even though he loves food, Jack will drop it when told - one day he spied some pizza on a table. Jack grabbed it and started walking off with it, and his foster mom said no and he dropped it right away and walked over to her. Of course, it would have been better if he just left the pizza to begin with but puppies are puppies!

Jack is also learning how to sit and doing really well with it. His favorite toy is a plastic Halloween pumpkin (the kind for trick or treating). He picks it up by the handle and walks around very proud of himself. He's nearly housebroken but still has a few accidents (hey, he is still a puppy!).

Jack is such a joy and makes his foster family smile and laugh at least a 100 times a day. He will make anyone happy who adopts him!
