Meet Isis, a beautiful blue-eyed female Husky. Isis was rescued from BARC where she was found as a stray. She is probably full grown and weighs about 40 pounds, but she could definitely gain 10 pounds and is on her way to doing so. She is still young at about one year old. Isis is very well mannered and responds well to people. In fact, just hours after being rescued Isis went to a café with her foster brother and sisters and after everyone finally stopped adoring her she fell right to sleep. She seems to fit right in with all people. Isis will need a home with a well secured 6 foot fence as Huskies are well known escape artists. She will also need to be inside during these hot days or at least have a doggie door so she can come in out of the heat. Isis seems to be house trained as she wakes her foster mom up during the night to go outside even when she is in a crate. Isis needs lots of love and care so she can be reassured that she is safe now. Isis loves her toys and we have a lot of fun watching her flip her toys up in the air and chase after them.
