Honey 1

Honey is one amazing little girl! She was born with only three legs but doesn't let that hold her back one bit! Honey was being picked on by the other members of her litter and not living a very happy life until her kindly neighbors took her in and tried to find her a home. When they couldn't and had to take her to the pound, another wonderful couple took her in and brought her to Scout's Honor.
Despite her missing hind leg, Honey loves to go for walks and even jog by your side. The beagle part of her shows in her absolutely beautiful face and, though she doesn't make much noise at all, when she does it's that great beagle howl! Honey is completely crate trained and almost completely house-trained (she won't have an accident as long as you remember to let her out often enough, and she runs to you for praise after pottying outside). Honey is very attentive to "her" people and will race up to you, sit, lean on your legs, and wait for you to pet her every time you say her name. She already knows how to sit, fetch, and go into her crate on command, and she seems very smart and willing to please. She is also excellent about leaving things or places alone when corrected.
Honey gets along great with kitties and other dogs, though she may be a little nervous about meeting new dogs at first because of her past. She LOVES meeting new people and would be great with kids who are old enough to understand her handicap. She is learning to walk nicely on the leash and would make a fantastic companion for anyone looking for a beautiful dog full of personality. Honey is 6 months old and 30 pounds now and close to full grown. Meet her, and her foster mom guarantees that you will fall in love!
