Holly

Meet adorable Holly!  Holly is 2.5-year-old Beagle girl who was given to her senior owner as a gift by her relatives when Holly was a puppy.  Unfortunately, Holly’s owner has been placed in a nursing home because of Alzheimer's and can no longer take care of her.

Holly is currently being fostered by Holly’s previous owner’s son and daughter-in-law, who have already taught her a lot.  Holly was already housetrained when she came to them, but tended to bolt out of the door as soon as it opened.  Also, she was a wiggle worm when her former mom tried to put a leash on her for a walk, making it almost impossible to do so for an older lady. These issues are gone. Holly doesn't try to bolt out the door anymore once you tell her NO, and she is as calm as a cucumber when her foster parents put the leash on her for a walk.

Holly lives with 5 other dogs right now and has become quite a player.  BUT, if you don't like a HOWL every now and then, out of excitement or protest, you shouldn't get a Beagle!

Holly is a young dog who can either be the only dog or have one or more play pals around. She is super fun to watch, but will need to go out on a regular basis, either in a yard or on walks (that's the BEST for her Beagle nose anyway!).
