Friends - We went to visit Hogan today at the vet and he is asking you spread the word that he needs a helping hand (or paw) and a foster home for the holidays!! As you can see Hogan is doing so so well!! He looks amazing and he is just an awesome doggie with an amazing disposition!! He takes his commands very seriously and is very obedient. he is a favorite at the vet's office but he said he's getting tired of being in a kennel and really wants to be in a home! Also a HUGE THANK YOU to each of you for you generous donations - as you can see in just 3 weeks, this sweetie's life has changed! Hogan is very sweet and gets along with other dogs and animals and is such a good boy! What we need for this sweet boy foster home for this sweet angel to recover in and get ready for adoption! Scout's Honor will cover all of his medical costs - he just needs a place to call home. We have called him Hogan and he is in URGENT need of a foster or safe place. He was left in a very, very run down trailer park in a very bad area of town - his family moved and left him behind and poor baby was starving to death...we don't think he would have lasted much longer there and the people at the trailer park wanted him gone one way or another....Hogan is a very loyal doggie who has been waiting patiently for his family to come home to him...he doesn't understand why they moved away and just left him there to die :( When we found him he was sitting on the porch with his kitten friends waiting...... Hogan is gorgeous! With proper food, nutrition and love, this dog will be a total hunk!! He is very smart and super-sweet. He was laying on the porch with some stray kittens when we pulled up to the trailer. He already knows sit and shake too!! The people at the vet's office say he is the sweetest and are very impressed with his disposition and intelligence! Hogan has never seen a vet in his life and has a long road ahead of him. As you can see, life has been tough for him. Poor guy even has his ears cut off (ouch!). The first thing we need is a place for Hogan to stay to get back on his feet! Scout's Honor will cover the medical expenses and food, he just needs a place to call home while he puts on weight and his hair grows back in (and we get a smile back on that sad face).
