Friends,

We are thrilled to introduce Henry, his "royal highness" of the pooch world.  Now, you may think that being the "King" is a undesirable quality for a dog. But, it's actually a really great characteristic...and here's why:

Henry was found on a busy street in Houston with matted hair and a frightened spirit. Such an overwhelming situation for a royal! But, he is learning to enjoy the good life! Henry is a 18 lb (January 2014) poodle mix (possibly a maltipoo).

Henry is charismatic, much like a King should be. He has mega personality and undeniable charm. Taking after King Henry VIII, our Henry has an elegant, regal appearance and is definitely a ladies man! Although, we would prefer that he NOT have 6 marriages! Any royal should have smarts to match his good looks, and Henry is no exception. With his legendary intelligence, he quickly picks up on the rules of the house and loves predictable routines. He understands that part of his royal duties are being a model dog in the house and in public. And he is working very hard to learn all of the rules. He is very eager to please and is a quick study. He is a still a playful puppy, so undoubtedly mistakes will happen as he is learning the rules. But, he promises to try his best and work really hard to please you- and his MAIN goal is to please you!!

To match his undeniable good looks and superb intelligence, Henry has an excellent sense of humor. We can only imagine what is going through that sweet boys mind when he is playing! And he LOVES playing with his canine foster siblings, going on walks, and playing with his royal toys!

Henry has a huge, loving heart. He is loyal, loves attention and he is ready to give you all of his love! He would like to be next to his human family as much as possible. He wants nothing more than to follow you around and lay at your feet (:

Well, Henry's royal bloodline ends with him as he is neutered. He is also up to dates on vaccines and microchipped. He does great with kids. There are no cats at his foster home. However his foster mom sees no indication that he has a prey drive and thinks that he would do fine with cats. Are you ready to give this royal pooch the royal home he so deserves?!
