Meet Hawkeye and Barnaby! Not very feminine names for such pretty girls, but they’re okay with it. These sisters are about 10 months old, around 40 lbs., and have been fully vetted and are HW negative. They have grown up at a machine shop and even though the digs aren’t ideal, they have been much loved by Bob, the owner. Bob took their pregnant mother and several other dogs in when the business next door closed and the owners left the dogs behind. These girls were born shortly thereafter. Although it would be wonderful for them to stay together, it’s not a pre-requisite to adopting. While they have loved living at the shop, especially with a virtual playground next door (a sloping bank leading to a small bayou!), Bob wants much more for them and wants them to have their very own family. And living at the machine shop is dangerous, with all the equipment and metal shavings everywhere. Both girls are very friendly and loving, especially liking to climb up into your lap.
