Harold

Meet precious Kipling and Harold!  Kipling is a 9-pound female rat terrier (mix?), who is as sweet as can be, and Harold is a 15-pound, loving, male terrier mix.  The vet estimates that they are each about 2 years old.

Kipling and Harold were found in the Montrose area, where we believe they were dumped.  They hung around in the same area for several days, were a bit scared, and had no street smarts (except they were smart as hell when it came to eluding capture).   After a wonderful couple spent literally night and day trying to catch them, they were finally successful, and both Kipling and Harold are safe with a wonderful foster!

Kipling and Harold are have either grown up together or got very close once they were on their own on the mean streets.  In fact, their foster mom says they are “like one dog they stick together so much.”  Because of this, we have determined that these two precious kids are a “package deal” and must be placed together.  (Hey, two dogs are easier than one!)

Both are very playful and like their toys and to follow each other and their foster mom around.   When they get tired they will pick out a doggie bed, and both lie down and go to sleep together.  They are very quiet and are perfectly still when you pick them up and carry them.  When they are on the floor or on your lap, they are little bundles of energy and so happy to have someone paying attention to them and to have other dogs to play with.  Their pictures do not do justice to how super cute they are!
