Meet Harlan!

Harlan is the happiest little guy, weighing in at a petite 43lbs.  He is a Collie mix of sorts and has the softest and shiniest coat!  Every time you see him, he has a big, open-mouth smile and is just waiting his turn to get some love!

He is super cuddly, friendly and loves attention! At around 2-3 years old he is potty trained and behaves very well while waiting in his crate for his foster mum to get home. When he gets out of his crate he does a cute little dance and loves his belly rubbed. He also loves big hugs and cuddling on the couch. 

His foster mum is working with him on commands and so far he does very well with sitting and laying down... especially if dehydrated chicken treats are involved! 

He is also an excellent walking buddy as he stays right by your side. He loves to run and play. He and his foster mom go on two to three 20-30 minute walks per day. He does come across other dogs and people on the trail and while he isn't easily distracted, he loves to make new friends when given the chance.

Harlan is looking for a great family or single owner with a yard where he can play. He gets along well with other dogs, so being in a house with another dog shouldn't be an issue either. He is a very well behaved, medium sized dog that really deserves a loving home inside where he will be welcomed daily by his family and walked at least twice a day.
