Gypsy is a snuggle puppy, she's great on the leash and LOVES to snuggle!! True to her breed - Black Mouth Cur - she is a wonderful family dog, super sweet and very calm! She loves people!  In just 2 short weeks, Gypsy has integrated fabulously with her foster family, getting along with her feline and canine foster siblings of various sizes.  While she is fine with the small dogs in the house, she seems to like her larger canine sister more.  She doesn't really pay attention to the cats - she's just indifferent to them.  She loves to be with someone at all times.  

We found Gypsy in front of the MFAH at the intersection of Memorial Dr. and Wescott, she was laying down watching runners and bikers pass her by without notice. Every time a car went by, Gypsy would perk her head up in hopes of her owner coming back to get her. It only took five minutes for Gypsy to come right next to me and lay down, totally trusting. She took water from me and was very calm on the car ride back to the house where she happily got a bath and some more food and water!

She's a very happy dog and would love a forever home! Gypsy seems to have been someone's dog at one point in her life as she understands indoor living. She's house-trained and is very well-behaved. Gypsy is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped. She is about 3-4 years old.
