Gunner is very loving and handsome dog. He was found running around the Spring area a few months ago. According to his vet he is a 3-4 year old American Bulldog. He's a fairly big guy, with a muscular build, weighing in at a healthy 85 pounds, and heartworm free. His coloration is white with a few small brindle areas - curiously, he has spots like a Dalmatian beneath his coat. A very handsome boy!! Despite his size, he's a very docile and gentle boy - he also gets along with other dogs quite well, and has proven to be fairly passive with more aggressive dogs. However, he is quite alert to movements around and outside the house, and has a nice deep bark if he needs to use it - he would be an excellent guardian of a household. We haven't had him around cats, and we're not sure how he would react to them.
Gunner loves to play (squeaky toys are his favorite!), and in general loves to be around people. He's not a lap dog, but he'll come up and gently lay his big head on your lap to let you know he's there and ready for some attention. He's really a great dog, and needs an equally wonderful home!!
