Hi, My name is Gunner.   I may have come from humble begininngs as a stray street dog but since I have been with my foster family I have really blossumed into an awesome family pet!   When I first came to my foster home, I did not even know what a toy was all about.   Now I love to play with my stuffed animals.  I am really good with them and I do not tear them up since they are so much fun to play with!  I toss them up in the air and snuggle with them giving them quick love nibbles as any respectable young lab would do.  I am great with kids.  They are lots of fun to play with also.  I am currently bunking at my foster mom's home.   Mom has a small family dog and I give her the proper respect since she was here first.   I am nice and do not invade her space.   Mom has taken me to the dog park and I played tag for hours with the other big dogs.  Wow what fun that day was!   I walk nicely on a leash with my mom.   I really want to chase those squirrels and cats but Mom tells me not to so I just point at them longingly.  I listen and obey my Foster Mom since I know that I have a good thing going here.   I am about 2 years old and 55 pounds which is a nice personal size lab mix -- not too big and not too small.  I have pearly white teeth.   I am a very loving handsome boy that is up to date on shots and I have been neutered.   I am crate trained and house trained.  I like to stay on my potty schedule so I am reliable as clockwork.   One important thing about me is that I need to be an indoor dog since I love to be with my people!  I also have the climbing skills of any outdoor cat and I can easily scale a six foot wooden fence if you leave me in the backyard.   You know street dogs that survive have to be athetic and agile.   I have very powerful back legs and I can climb the fence in 5 seconds or less.   So keep me indoors close to you and we will be the very best of forever friends.   I just require short walks to take care of potty business and then hey Mom let's go back inside.   I have had enough of outdoor living thank you very much.   Will you give me my forever home?
