Hi – Griffin here! I am a Miniature Schnauzer and have a few years under my belt- somewhere around 8 years to be more exact. I have always been a pretty easy going guy and I just cannot figure out how I ended up in a ditch on a cold, wet rainy day. Luck would have it that a nice lady found me and immediately took me in. It felt so good to get out of the cold weather and get some warm food and fresh water. This nice lady even had me bathed and groomed because I certainly needed it. Then I even got to visit a vet just to make certain that I was alright. It turned out that I did not have a microchip that could identify where I came from and for the life of me I cannot remember either. All I know is that I am glad that I could be taken into Scout’s Honor Rescue and I am living with the nicest foster mom.
Even though I am approaching my senior years, I still enjoy playing with other dogs and love to go out in the backyard to explore and soak up some sunshine. I am putting some weight so I am stronger and happier each day. All I need now is a place to call home – I don’t cause much trouble and I get along with everyone. Would you consider giving a middle age guy a second chance in life??
