Gracie 3

Meet Gracie!  Gracie is a sweet, happy little girl with three legs that was picked up by BARC (Houston pound) as a stray and was never claimed by her owner. We know she had to have had an owner because she is so well behaved, appears to have been well cared for at some point and gets along with everybody. If you start petting her she will roll over so you can rub her belly. The minute she sees a person, adult and child alike, her tail just starts wagging and she just wants to walk up to you and say hi.  She rides in the car great and can even get in and out fairly easy, even with only three legs. Our vet said that Gracie was not born with three legs but likely had her leg amputated. But having three legs doesn't slow her down a bit. She walks great on a leash and get around without any problem. She even seems to be potty trained. She had no accidents in the car and when we took her out she got antsy and was trying to walk toward a grassy area so we walked her over and she went potty.

Gracie is some sort of Shepherd mix who looks to be only a couple years old. She is just a sweetheart and we think she would do fine in just about any home. Won't you consider giving her a chance and provide her a foster or forever home? We promise she will not disappoint.  We really don’t want this precious girl to have to stay in boarding one day longer, so please consider Miss Gracie!
