You may remember our trio, Lexie, Chiltie and Gordie. Well, they are all 3 still looking for their forever homes! Gordie, along with his two siblings, were rescued in the northwest part of Houston where they were dumped. They were left to fend for themselves. Their mom was dumped with them as well and she was blond too like Gordie, but unfortunately she was picked up by animal control before anyone could get to her and was euthanized. Luckily, a kind lady in the community noticed the siblings and began feeding them and gained their trust. That's when Scout's Honor Rescue stepped in and with the help of a wonderful volunteer, they were taken to safety. Of the three dumped, he was the first to step up and jump on in the truck to safety.

Gordie is in a foster home with two other dogs and just thriving. He has several canine friends (from Rotties to Chihuahuas) on his street that he gets to hang out with and he just loves everyone. He loves his toys, running in the backyard to look for squirrels and sleeping on his plush bed. He also good around kiddos and would be an awesome additional to a family. He is totally house-trained, crate-trained and is well behaved. He also walks great on a leash. He's very sweet and warms right up to you. He's just a super sweet boy that loves loves to be held! He weighs about 50 lbs, is neutered, comes fully vetted and micro-chipped. He is one handsome, laid-back fellow! We believe he is around 1 to 1 1/2 years old.
