Meet sweet Ginger! Ginger's full given name is "Gingerbread Love." She was named by a five-year-old little girl and definitely can pull off that name!

Ginger is an approximately 1.5-year-old and is from the "little scruffy" breed. :) She looks like she has some Jack Russell Terrier in her. She weighs 23 pounds.

Ginger was found on running around on the streets near the freeway. She was about to get hit by a car, but was luckily rescued just in the nick of time!

Ginger is a little shy on first meeting, but she does warm up. At first, she hid under a side table and shivered. But that is all in the past because now she has turned out to be one crazy (in a good way) girl!

Ginger has a quirky personality that is hard to define. She is extraordinarily sweet and loving. She loves other dogs and is good with kids. She has not been around cats, but would probably do fine with them.

One of the things she loves to do when she plays with other dogs is do a "body slam"-it is rather cute to watch.
