George
Shepherd / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat) • Male • Young • Medium
George was found on Shepherd in mid April. The lady that found him posted signs in the area and at vet clinics and Petsmart. She also posted ads on Craigslist and Petfinder, but unbelievably nobody claimed this awesome boy. So, poor George has been in boarding since April and we would really like to find him a great foster home so he can run and play and be loved on instead of being cooped up in a kennel.
He is about 2 years old and has been vaccinated, neutered, and treated for heartworms. He has fully recovered and can be as active as he wants now. George gets along with all humans and animals (except for one Catahoula who jumped him at the clinic). He has learned how to walk well on a leash and knows sit, down, rollover, jump, and that a pat on my chest means he can jump up for a hug. He is currently working on stay, crawl, off and not jumping up on people at random. He loves kiddos too! Just look at that sweet face!!
