Gabe is all cleaned up and ready to learn to trust humans again. He is making great strides in that direction. Gabe was dropped at BARC by some people that did not care to tend to him very much at all. He was matted so much that he could barely extend his legs. He is approximately 14 pounds and just under 2 years of age. Slightly heartworm positive but on monthly treatments so he should test negative in about a year or so. Scouts Honor Rescue pulled him and took him directly to the vet so he is now fully vetted and clean. He sure is feeling much better. He is quickly learning to trust the human touch and he will make someone a great lap doggie and also a great new family addition. He loves his foster siblings both dogs and cats. He is a bouncer and a wiggler he is so happy these days. You can just see it in his face--it’s like he is smiling, no looking back for this special little boy. We believe that Gabe is a mix of sorts maybe Shih Tzu or Tibetan Terrier mix. 

GABE IS LOOKING FOR A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME AT THIS TIME. HE WILL NEED TO BE IN A SECURE HOME TO HELP BUILD HIS CONFIDENCE.
