Fresno

Please meet Fresno!

Fresno and his brother were recently dumped in the Garden Oaks area. Neighbors spotted them sleeping in hedges and drinking out of puddles of water. Fresno appears to underweight, but rest assured we are working on that!  He was a little nervous,  but warmed up nicely with some treats & a safe car ride, lots of petting!   Fresno appears to be a full blooded Chocolate Labrador Retriever.  He is approximately 12-16 months old and weighs in right at 50lbs.  While this picture doesn’t show it, Frenso stands to put on roughly 10lbs to get to his proper weight.

Other than a bump or scrape here and there, he seems to be in good health. While on the street he simply sat and watched the kids leaving the school each day. He even watched the mail man walk by without a peep.  Likely waiting for someone, really anyone that seemed nice, to encourage him to come along home with them.   Frenso has an old soul vibe about him for such a young lab.  We think that once he settles in, more of that traditional bouncy lab will come out and the wiggles will begin!

From the mean streets to the person we call the “Vet”-  yuk.  Fresno needs a foster home to curl up in!  Who can help us get him with a loving family ASAP!!!!!?!?
