Francine

Labrador Retriever / Yellow Labrador Retriever (short coat) • Female • Adult • Medium

This pet is currently "On Trial" with a family.

Meet Francine!

Francine is a sugar-faced yellow labrador that was found wandering in the woods.  The shelter believes she was on a nature hike with her family and got separated, but by the time she was found - it had been quite some time and she was skinny and confused!  More than that though, Francine was HAPPY to be FOUND!  She met her finders with a wagging tail and lots of kisses.  Her intake photo at the shelter, even though it was in black and white and very grainy, her face was filled with gratitude with a huge smile and bright eyes.

Unfortunately, her family never came for her, despite the many posts on social media and in the area she was found.  And for any dog, shelter life is no good, and for a girl who all signs point to she once had a home, a week in a shelter can break any dogs spirit.  When we busted Francine from the shelter, she was SO happy to be out and just curled up in the first lap she could find and stayed put.  She is a SUPER sweet girl that is very confused and scared and just needs to find a home (even foster home) that can rebuild her confidence and let her know that everything is going to be okay!

Francine is about 7 years old and a medium sized girl that can easily fit into any home.  Please consider adopting Francine and helping us teach her she is safe forever and is now part of the Scout's Honor family for the rest of her life!  Visit www.scoutshonor.org for more information.
