Hello! My name is Fitz!
As you can see, I'm super cute and adorable! I love to romp and play because I'm still a puppy, just around 9 months old. My foster family is teaching me all the important commands and rules of being a pet. I love the outdoors, I even like walking on a leash and my family says I'm very well-behaved on the leash! I like to walk and run because I'm a puppy and have a lot of energy! I'd love to have a yard so I can run and play, but I'd be just as happy walking with my family. One of my favorites is running at Memorial Park. That track looks like so much fun!
Now, more about me. I have had my first round of shots and am "getting fixed" soon and will get a microchip so I am never lost again! I love my snacks and gobble up all of my food, but doesn't every puppy? I'm trying very hard and learning the "potty" thing. I know "sit" very well and "down" is getting better and like I said, walking on a leash, I'm an expert and very polite. I'm working on becoming more disciplined and would be a great student for anyone that wants to treat me more tricks and how to be the very best pet there is. I'm even willing to go to puppy school!
I believe I'm a very loyal pooch as I want to be near my family whenever I can. I do not bark on my walk when I see another dog and I like watching the other people and cars go by or whatever else might be happening. My mom says that is good that I don't bark at those things. I do not like distractions when I eat and the vet says that I am going to stay kind of small, maybe around 35lbs or so.
I am SO happy I was rescued. I was terrified because I was dumped by my previous owner and didn't understand what I did wrong. My foster family says I didn't do anything wrong but I still try really hard to never be left behind again. I just need that forever family to give me a chance to prove how amazing I am! Can that be you? I'm ready to prove that I can be the very best pet!
