Friends,

Please meet Fenway. Mr. Fenway is a Newfoundler type dog with maybe some black lab mixed in for fun. Scouts Honor Rescue was on a mission to rescue another dog that was just a rascal and very difficult to capture (they eventually got him). SO, Fenway took the opportunity to be available for rescue---very smart of him right? He was found in an industrial area lying in a ditch with an embedded rope collar in his neck.  After immediate surgery his neck has mended nicely and his pain has lessened. He is now looking for a nice safe forever home and is probably the first one he has ever had.  He is about 3 years old and weighs about 65lbs.  Fenway is very sweet to people an he likes other dogs but because he was so skinny when Scouts Honor found him that he is very protective of food right now and he needs to be fed alone. His food aggression will diminish once he knows he will be fed on a regular basis and he probably need to be another 15 or 20 lbs. heavier. He loves being outside (probably because he's never been inside) getting his ears scratched and playing with toys.
