Etta

Meet Ms. Etta, yes in honor or Etta James, Etta was taken in to Scout's Honor Rescue from the LaPorte Animal Shelter. She came with very high recommendations because of her sweet and passive nature. The animal control officers, who see a lot of dogs come through, just raved over her disposition & asked that we please pull her and find her a great home. Ms. Etta is a petite Blue Brindle Pittie, just under two years old & not much of a barker either. She howled out on her ride into town but that was from sheer joy! Etta weighs around 40 lbs & is full grown with a beautiful blue brindle coat. She was so cute and curious as we were loading she just sat and watched all the activity and just wiggled about when she learned that she was being sprung from the shelter. They are going to miss her but also happy to see her getting in to a rescue program. Such a loving and deserving pup. She had a gorgeous blue brindle coat.

Etta is actively seeking a foster or forever home, so please help spread the word. She would do well in most any type active home & does great with most other dogs! She gets to do doggie daycare at the facility she is boarding in and she loves the boys and her best bud is a little dog! She also has gone on weekend stays with one of our volunteers and our volunteers says Etta is wonderful!

She is not much of a barker

Not big on the treats, but loves the squeaky toys

She loves to play with the water hose and does not mind getting soaked in the process.

She also has a cute little snort sound that she makes – very cute!
