Poor Dutchess had a family that left her run loose and she was always getting picked up by animal control....this time was she was picked up, her family refused to come get this sweet girl so she waited and waited for someone to come and rescue her....almost a month at the La Porte pound until finally, she was rescued by Scout's Honor! Dutchess has spent so long in a kennel and is eager and ready for a home of her very own --- Dutchess is about 2 years old, she is up to date on all of her shots, heartworm negative and will be spayed and microchipped this week. To top it off, this FABULOUS girl, not only has the looks of Dog Fancy model, she is also housetrained and knows basic obedience commands!!! She was raised about kids and loves them (she used to follow the daughter of her former family to the bus stop) and she loves other dogs!! (take a look at the cute story below to see just how sweet this girl is). Dutchess loves to play and couldn't wait to play a game of tug-of-war as soon as she was out of the kennel. She is a very sweet, smart affectionate girl that just needs a home that is going to love her forever. Are you that person for her??
