Meet Django. Django is a 2 year old Saint Bernard mix. He is a super friendly and loving. When we first met him at BARC he just jumped up and wrapped his paws around a SHR volunteer's leg and just wanted a hug. He is such a handsome guy who just wants your love and attention. Django is neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative. Please contact us right away if you can open your heart and home to this sweet man. Our poor boy has been sitting in a kennel at BARC since the very beginning of February. Django is one amazing boy. How this boy stayed at BARC so long his foster will never understand. He was pulled just one day before he was to be euthanized and Scout's Honor could not have pulled a bigger lovebug. His first day in a foster home he met a bossy pointer, a nervous Shar-pei mix and a totally laid back lab mix, plus an old cat and got along with all of them! Not to mention he was totally happy hanging out at the neighbor's with seven kids playing on a giant inflatable water slide. The television is a bit scary and the wood floors are a little tricky to run on but he will figure these things out soon. He goes into a crate with a little hesitation but once in you don’t hear a sound. He just waits until you come get him. If you don’t want doggie hugs or tons of love this is not your boy. But if you are looking for a dog who wants to be part of your family, walks well on leash and is ready to learn whatever you are willing to teach him, Django just might your dog. In short, Django is very loving, gets along with other dogs, cats and kiddos, is housetrained, walks well on a leash and is just plain handsome - what more could you ask for?!
