Please meet Diego, a very special lil fellow looking for just the right home. I (Diego) was found on the streets of New York City, needless to say, I am a lil jumpy. Kids, kitties and most strangers make me jumpy and I don't like them eating my food either. All part of my past street life I suppose---there are a lot of "not" NICE people out there, but a lot of nice people I am learning as well. BUT, the good thing is this, once you start to love me and I get settled into you home I can turn into a "perfect" couch pillow. Although, Ms. Holly who has been working on my dicipline said I can no longer be on the couch ;-(. She thinks or thought that i was too big for my britches and is making me think I am some sort of dog or whatever you call them. Anyway, I would love the opportunity to meet you. I am in temporary housing now (sort of like those FEMA trailers over in La, but smaller), just looking and waiting for someone to give me a shot at a new life. My foster dad's been traveling, but when I was there, he had a pool and I just loved to swim. I have part swim dog in me they say--again, I am learning to be a dog. Oh, did they tell ya that I am VERY WELL trained and very house broken too. I just have to focus on who is top dog and am doing a good job at it, just ask me or Ms. Holly. The SCOUTS HONOR program will help ya with all the paper work and even toss in a couple more taining classes. Again, I don't need training, just a lil attitude adjustment. Ms. Holly said that she has fixed that in me and I think she has. Please consider me, I give good sloppy kisses once I get settled and promise to love you unconditionally. My former parents that rescued me would love to stay in touch with me and my future life and family. There is a story as to why I am in the program, come see me and I will share it with you! But, please know, I am a truly special pup! I come fully vetted, walk well on a leash, fully trained.
