Poor Delta was found wandering on the 610 exit ramp by Airline Road (hence her name). Luckily, one of our volunteers saw her and stopped to pick her up before she was hit by a car. She was so scared but so sweet. She let the volunteer that found her leash her, pick her up and put her in her car with her 2 large dogs without a problem. She rode in the car perfectly on the way to the vet. She just kept looking at the girl that rescued her as to say "thank you for saving me".

Delta is about 2 yrs old, loves loves people, seems ok with other dogs and is very laid back. She is on the small side weighing in at only 37 lbs (full grown) so she's the perfect size! She's been just great at the vet's office and did fantastic when she got a bath. She loves ice, will bark when she needs to go out to potty from her run, seems to enjoy car rides and is fine in a crate.
